Holiday Gift Guide: For Toddlers
The toddler age might just be the most fun age group to buy for in my opinion. Everything is just so cute! While my kids have recently outgrown this age, these are the toys they loved most from ages 1.5-4 years. There are even a few on this list they still play with to this day, and that is the mark of a truly fabulous toy I’d say.

1. Wooden train set A classic toy for a reason, my son has logged countless hours with his train set. It also functions as a puzzle as they learn how to assemble it, which I love. This ski hill version is so adorable.
2. Floral Apron Our kids each have their own special apron that they love to pull out when we are baking. This one is particularly lovely!
3. Ride-on Car My 6 year old daughter was gifted this ride-on car as an infant and I can confidently say it is the only toy we own that has been played with literally every day since she was old enough to use it. It is such a hit with both my kids and every other child that has visited our home. The quality of this vehicle is wonderful, with a metal body it’s made to withstand whatever kids throw at it. It is also available in black, pink, & an airplane version.
4. Wooden Play Kitchen A play kitchen could be considered a toddler essential – I love the aesthetic of this one. My kids got many years of open-ended and creative play out of their play kitchen. I’d add on one or two wooden grocery, fruit or pastry sets too! This wooden cash register is also a super fun addition.
5. Car Glider Track My kids are always fascinated by how the cars slide and flip down the track. A great gift for toddlers of any age.
6. Wooden Play Cleaning Set There was a stage between 18mo – 3 years where my kids were super entertained by cleaning (and what a stage that was!). This was the most coveted toy in the house at that time!
7. Balance Board My kids were gifted this wobble/balance board as toddlers and they still play with it today. See-saw, car ramp, surf board, a slide off the couch, and whatever else they can imagine – it really is the best open-ended toy.
8. Wicker Luggy Basket My daughter absolutely loved carting her baby’s things around the house & this wicker pull along is a much cuter version of the cart we had for her. There’s just something so sweet about a toddler pulling along a little basket like this!
