Presets are professional editing “formulas” that can be applied to your photos to give your photos a beautiful, consistent look without having to adjust all the editing settings on your own. They are an easy, one click solution that allows you to quickly edit your photos like a pro within seconds, on the go, using only your phone.

When editing my photos, I adjust many different settings (light, shadows, colour, tint, clarity, etc.) to achieve the Grey + Avery look. Presets simply apply this unique editing formula to your photo with one click. I use these presets to edit all my photos, from family pictures shot on my iPhone to DSLR images for my website.

These presets have been handcrafted with love & care to reflect the Grey + Avery aesthetic – a light & airy look with soft, warm light, and muted colours.

For those who do know how to edit photos in Lightroom, you know that editing each photo individually takes a great amount of time and effort to achieve an ideal balance between all the available settings (light, shadows, colour, tint, clarity, etc.). Presets are professional editing formulas which harness the power of Lightroom to enhance the inherent beauty of a photo. Filters, which adjust basic settings such as exposure and color tone, add a generic overlay to your photos and cannot be further edited. Using presets applies an advanced editing formula to your photo and allows you to further tweak the settings when desired.

I use a very specific editing style on my photography and I’ve created these presets so that you too can achieve this look, while maintaining the ability to adjust your image further if you want to. After applying a preset I may increase or decrease the exposure of a photo, and while typically no further edits are needed, if you desire that functionality it is there for you (included in the download package is a guide for making these simple adjustments).

Your purchases includes the 8 preset files for BOTH mobile and desktop, plus detailed guides for installing and using your presets.

I’ll walk you through how to get them setup on your phone, how to use them to make one-click edits to your photos & how to make any adjustments you may desire.

I’ve also included tips & tricks for taking great photos and selecting which preset to use.

Once you’ve purchased your presets, the files are immediately available from the download page (an email link will also be sent to you if you wish to download at a later date).

Simply unzip the download package (don’t worry, instructions are provided on the download page if you don’t know how to do this – it just takes two clicks!), then refer to the Installation Guide.

Included with your purchase are step-by-step tutorials for installing the presets on iPhone, Android, Mac & PC devices. These manuals will be included in your download package!

Grey + Avery signature presets have been designed with a variety of lighting situations in mind – what this means is not every one of presets will be right for every photo.

To help guide you in choosing a preset the presets have been named to reflect the aesthetic they will apply to your photo (cozy, bright, soft light, etc.). When importing the presets into Lightroom I suggest you name the presets using these given names as this will help you determine which preset to use for a given photo.

Many photos look fantastic with just one click of a preset. Sometimes a photo may require a few other simple tweaks, such as increasing or decreasing exposure.

Included in your purchase is a guide showing you how to make these simple edits in Lightroom.

My editing style is very specific to Grey + Avery and my feed imagery has been carefully refined and handcrafted to align with my desired aesthetic.

I lean towards a crisp, light & airy editing style with soft, warm light, and muted colours. If you like the style of the photos you see on my feed and blog, I think you’ll love these presets! If you prefer darker, moodier images these presets may not be for you.

For MOBILE presets you will need a mobile device and the FREE Lightroom mobile app, no subscription is required. Lightroom mobile is completely free to use. The installation guide shows you exactly how to download and use the Lightroom app.

For your DESKTOP computer, you will need any version of Adobe Lightroom installed on your laptop or desktop computer, available here. Please note that Adobe Lightroom for Desktop requires a monthly subscription.

No previous Lightroom experience is required. I’ll walk you through how to get them setup on your phone or desktop, how to use them to make one-click edits to your photos & how to make any adjustments you may desire.

Once you’ve purchased the presets, we’ve got you covered with a full tutorial – installing the Lightroom app, downloading the preset files & installing them into Lightroom.

I’ll show you how to use the presets and I’ve included tips & tricks for taking great photos and selecting which preset to use.

Yes, the mobile presets are compatible with both iPhone and Android

Yes, the desktop presets are compatible with Lightroom for both Mac and PC computers.

Yes! The presets will work with Lightroom on an iPad! Download the presets on your iPad and follow the instruction manual (provided with your download) for installing the presets.

Yes! You simply need a mobile device for your mobile presets.

Currently Grey + Avery presets are only available as a bundle.

You will have a set limit as to how many downloads are available. A desktop computer is not required for download or use of mobile presets (you can download them directly to your phone), but I highly recommend downloading them to a desktop and/or backing them up (via hard drive or cloud storage). This way if you get a new phone or computer you can easily access the files.
